We are hiring – Kickstart Jobs Scheme

Kickstart Jobs UK is helping small businesses and employers access the Government’s Kickstart Scheme to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds. The Kickstart Scheme will fund hundreds of thousands of high quality 6 month work placements for young people deemed at risk of long term unemployment due to Coronavirus.

The scheme will pay employers 100% of the National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a weeks, plus employer National Insurance contributions and employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions. There is also £1,500 per job placement available for setup costs, support and training.

Employers are only allowed to apply directly to the Government for funding if they are creating at least 30 job placements. Many small businesses and employers won’t be able to create that number of jobs but still want to take part in the scheme.

Kickstart Jobs UK will be acting as a representative for small businesses and employers by bringing together applications from different employers to meet the Government’s threshold. You can apply through us and we will handle the application process with the Government. You will still receive 100% of the funding – we do not take a penny as the Government will cover our administration costs directly.
